GE Arcstream tubular-shaped lamps must be used in suitably enclosed fixtures with UV-absorbing cover glass. Enclosed fixtures must be capable of containing fragments of hot quartz or glass (up to 1100°C) in the unusual event of the outer bulb shattering.

    Fiber Optic Pool Light

    This bulb has replaced a burnt out bulb that no one carried for my pool fiber optic lighting. I was told the light system is outdated and could not be replace.
    The system is working great.
