With a CRI of 82 and a lifespan of 15,000–28,000 hours, it’s designed for energy-efficient commercial lighting. Featuring a G13 medium base, this lamp is ideal for fixtures requiring a compact U-bend design.

Mean lumens are measured at 40% of the average rated lamp life. Initial lumens are approximate after 100 hours of operation. OCTRON lamps require magnetic rapid start ballasts (265 mA, T8) or high-frequency electronic ballasts (instant start, rapid start, or programmed rapid start) designed for T8 lamps. Ballast factors should range from 0.71 to 1.20. For instant start mode, connect both socket wires or contacts to each other and to the appropriate ballast lead per National Electric Code.

Life ratings are based on 3-hour operating cycles with ANSI-compliant ballasts. Longer cycles increase lifespan. SUPERSAVER® lamps need F32T8 ballasts with a minimum open circuit voltage of 550V RMS. Avoid using in remotely ballasted fixtures below 550V, Rapid Start ballasts below 570V, air-handling fixtures, low power factor ballasts, or inverter-operated emergency lighting systems unless specifically listed. Drafts or ambient temperatures below 60°F (70°F for 25W) may cause striation or reduced brightness, which is not harmful and resolves when conditions normalize.
