Product Overview
The GE 66954 Lightech LET75 is a 277V-input electronic step-down transformer converting line voltage to 12V low-voltage output for halogen MR16, MR11, and other low-voltage lamp systems, as well as compatible constant-voltage 12V LED fixtures. This is the 277V input version within GE's 75W Lightech transformer family — for commercial circuits wired at 277V from a 480/277V three-phase distribution system, common in retail, commercial, and landscape lighting installations served by commercial electrical infrastructure.
GE Lightech transformers use Auto-Thermal Regulation to proportionally reduce output voltage above 90°C case temperature, with a self-preserving 125°C thermal cut-off for protection against sustained overheating. Field-effect transistor design delivers higher efficiency and longer service life than older bipolar transistor transformers. This unit supports trailing edge (ELV) dimming.
Important: This 277V model has a higher minimum load requirement (35W) than the standard 120V versions in this family (20W minimum) — confirm your total connected load meets this minimum to ensure stable operation, especially when dimming.
