Product Overview
The Osram LUMILUX T5 HE series offers good light output, efficiency and economy, and the manufacturer states it is up to 20% more efficient than standard T8. It is designed for operation on electronic control gear and can be dimmed with an appropriate dimmable ballast.

Before Ordering
- Confirm the lamp is 28W with a G5 base and the 830 (3000K) light color.
- Confirm the fixture accepts a lamp with a maximum overall length of 1163.2 mm (45.80 in). Other T5 lamps with the same length (T5 HO 54W) have a different wattage, so confirm wattage and series against your ballast.
- Confirm the ballast is rated for 28W T5 HE lamps and matches your supply voltage.
- T5 lamps are not interchangeable with T8 or T12 lamps.
Safety and Handling
- Disconnect power before installing or removing the lamp.
- Handle the glass tube carefully and do not install a cracked or damaged lamp.
- Allow the lamp and fixture to cool before servicing.
- Light output depends on ambient temperature and is highest at about 35°C (95°F).
