OCTRON lamps should be operated with magnetic rapid start ballasts (265 mA T8) or electronic ballasts that are instant, rapid, or programmed rapid start types specifically designed for T8 lamps. Instant start operation should ensure both contacts of each socket are bridged and connected properly using NEC techniques.

Life Expectancy: Lamp life ratings are based on 3-hour cycles. Extended cycles increase life span. Use only with ANSI-compliant ballasts.

SUPERSAVER® Usage Guidelines: Use with F32T8 ballasts rated at ≥550V RMS open circuit voltage. Avoid use in:

• Remote fixtures with open circuit voltage below 550V
• Rapid start ballasts below 570V
• Air-handling fixtures
• Low power factor ballasts
• Inverter-based emergency systems unless approved

Using in unsupported configurations may result in poor starting or compatibility issues.

Cold Environment Warning: Below 60°F (70°F for 25W versions), striation or brightness reduction may occur. This is temporary and resolves under warmer, stable conditions.
