DULUX® D preheat 2-pin lamps have an internal starter in the lamp base and are designed for preheat, magnetic ballast operation. This lamp is not a self-ballasted screw-in CFL and is not a 4-pin lamp.

Per the manufacturer catalog, 2-pin compact fluorescent lamps are not suitable for frequently cycled applications or for use with occupancy sensors.
