Product Overview

The GE LU250/SBY/XL/ECO is a 250-watt Ecolux® Standby Longlife TCLP-compliant HPS lamp with dual arc tubes. It ships with a ED18 bulb envelope on a E39 Mogul Screw base and is built to operate on an HPS ballast rated ANSI S50. Output is 27,500 initial lumens (24,750 mean lumens) at 2000K and 22 CRI, with a warm amber HPS color.

Standby Longlife lamps contain an extra arc tube that provides light instantly after a momentary power interruption and returns to 80% light output in 1–2 minutes. They operate on standard HPS ballasts and auxiliary equipment and use a lead-free base that passes TCLP.

Not recommended for: retail displays, color-critical inspection environments, or any application requiring CRI above 22.

Safety and Handling Guidelines
