The Halco 25599 MBUL-GS-BZ is an 8 inch aluminum ground stake in a bronze finish, the landscape mounting accessory for the Halco Mini Bullet Flood Series. It allows the fixture to be set directly into a planting bed or lawn rather than mounted to a junction box. This is an accessory sold separately — no fixture is included.

Product Overview

The Halco Mini Bullet Flood Series mounts either to a junction box or to a ground stake, and neither is supplied with the fixture. That is deliberate: the same luminaire serves a planting bed and a building facade, and the mounting hardware is what adapts it. Choosing the right accessory is therefore part of specifying the fixture, not an afterthought.

The ground stake is the landscape option. An 8 inch aluminum stake in a bronze finish sets the fixture into soil at the base of a tree, along a path, or within a planting bed, and can be repositioned as the planting matures. Aluminum rather than plastic gives it the rigidity to be driven into compacted ground without flexing.

Note that the stake is offered only in bronze, while the fixture is available in bronze, white, and black. In a planting bed the stake is usually concealed by foliage or mulch, but on an exposed installation with a black or white fixture the finish difference will be visible at the base. Worth considering at specification.

• This is an accessory only. No fixture is included.
• Confirm the finish match. The ground stake is offered only in bronze. Pairing it with a black or white fixture will show a finish mismatch at the base.
• Confirm the soil will hold an 8 in. stake. Loose or sandy ground may require a longer stake or a different mounting method.
• Confirm how the supply wiring will be run and protected below grade.
• Confirm the fixture is a Mini Bullet Flood; this stake is specific to that series.

• Disconnect power at the breaker before installing or servicing the fixture or its mounting hardware.
• Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local codes.
• Ground the installation properly. Outdoor circuits should be GFCI protected where required by code.
• Seat all gaskets and EPDM forms fully; the weather rating of the installation depends on them.
• Close all unused openings with the supplied plugs.
• Do not overtighten screws into the die-cast or aluminum components.
• Verify the assembly is weather-sealed before energizing, particularly in wet locations.
• Route and protect below-grade or exposed wiring in accordance with code.
