The GE ConstantColor® Precise™ IR 37-Watt MR16 HIR Flood Lamp (Order Code: 16717) was a high-efficiency lighting solution featuring advanced HIR (Halogen Infrared) technology. This closed-face lamp used an infrared-reflective coating to recycle heat back to the filament, allowing 37 watts to deliver the light output of a standard 50W MR16—saving 30% in energy costs while maintaining superior light quality.
