Product Overview
The DECOSTAR 51 Standard line is the classic dichroic-reflector MR16 halogen lamp: most of the heat the lamp produces is emitted out through the rear of the reflector rather than forward into the light beam, cutting heat in the beam by up to 66%. That makes it easier to present heat-sensitive objects — merchandise, artwork, textiles — under bright accent light without the thermal stress a standard reflector lamp would add.
The 41870 WFL pairs a 36° wide flood beam with 1,500 candela of luminous intensity at 50W, delivering Ra=100 (perfect color rendering) light at 2,950K. It is fully dimmable, includes a built-in UV filter to help protect illuminated materials from fading, and — as an open-face lamp with no cover glass — is rated as a low-pressure discharge vessel for use in open luminaires per IEC 60432-3.
