The Sollos PBL-TZ-16 (product number 27546S) is a 12V AC low-voltage bollard-style landscape path light with a 16" vertical column, finished in Textured Bronze. Unlike the Sollos path light families that use a G4 bi-pin socket, the Bollard fixture uses a GU5.3 MR16 bi-pin socket. It ships with a 36" 18-2 lead wire, two King® DryConn™ waterproof connectors, and an 8" ground stake. This is a kitted assembly supplied with a Halco ProLED MR16BAB/827/LED GU5.3 MR16 LED lamp installed (2700K, 20W-equivalent). Product Overview

The Sollos PBL Bollard Path Light is a vertical-column landscape fixture: a 16" bollard body finished in Textured Bronze that stands upright on an 8" ground stake, distributing light outward at a lower, more architectural height than a stake-mounted hat light. The form suits formal walkway delineation, entry features, and driveway edges where a column silhouette reads better than a mushroom-hat path light.

The bollard uses a GU5.3 MR16 bi-pin socket rather than the G4 bi-pin socket used in the Sollos PSH and P90° path light families – MR16 and G4/GY6.35 lamps are not interchangeable, and this is a common point of confusion when cross-shopping the Sollos path light lineup. The collar is stepped and threaded for tool-less relamping, and a clear threaded polycarbonate lens protects the lamp.

This order code is supplied as a kitted assembly with a Halco ProLED MR16BAB/827/LED MR16 lamp included (4W, 20W-equivalent, 2700K, 270 lumens, 40° flood beam). When installed in this Sollos fixture under recommended conditions, the lamp qualifies for a 20-year limited warranty – substantially longer than its 5-year standalone Commercial/Industrial warranty. The fixture-only version of the same finish is sold under a separate order code. Every fixture ships with a 36" 18-2 lead wire, two King DryConn waterproof connectors, and an 8" ground stake, and operates on a 12V AC landscape transformer ordered separately.

Before Ordering – Verify

• This is a 12V AC low-voltage fixture. It will be destroyed if connected to 120V line voltage. A 12V landscape transformer is required and is not included.
• Socket is GU5.3 MR16 bi-pin, not G4/GY6.35. The Sollos JC-series G4 lamps used in the PSH and P90° path light families will not fit this fixture.
• This order code includes an LED lamp. If you need the fixture without a lamp, order the fixture-only version of the same finish instead.
• Confirm finish: this item is Textured Bronze. Also offered in PBL-TB-16-MR16BAB/827/LED, PBL-AB-16-MR16BAB/827/LED.
• Antique Brass carries a lifetime warranty; Textured Black and Textured Bronze carry a 5-year warranty – confirm which finish before ordering if warranty terms matter to the buyer.
• Total the wattage of every fixture on the run and size the transformer accordingly, allowing headroom for future additions.
• MR16 lamps may not be compatible with every dimming system; test on the actual circuit before completing a full installation.

Safety and Handling Guidelines

• De-energize the transformer before wiring, relamping, or servicing the fixture.
• Make all splices with the supplied King DryConn waterproof connectors and keep connections out of standing water.
• Bury or otherwise protect the low-voltage cable run to prevent damage from mowers, edgers, and digging.
• Do not exceed the 20W maximum lamp rating. Overlamping causes excess heat, socket damage, and lens degradation.
• Drive the ground stake into soil only; do not hammer on the bollard housing.
• Keep the lens clear of mulch, soil, and dense foliage so heat can dissipate.
• This fixture contains no mercury; the LED kit lamp is mercury-free.
