Product Overview
This Philips InstantFit lamp is built for a straightforward upgrade from fluorescent to LED: it fits into existing linear fixtures and eliminates the need for rewiring, so the fixture retains its original UL and CSA compliance. It's compatible with a wide range of instant-start and programmed-start ballasts; select models like this one also support dimming ballasts where noted. Full light output is maintained down to -4°F (-20°C), and the lamp is rated for use up to 113°F (45°C) ambient – well suited to spaces with frequent on/off switching or cold environments like refrigerated display cases.
Compared to a (2) lamp F32T8 electronic instant-start system at 0.88 ballast factor (58 system watts), a comparable (2) lamp Philips InstantFit 12W setup runs at approximately 29 system watts – about 50% energy savings.
