The Satco S33114 (130W/LED/HID-HB/4K) is a 130W/100W/80W wattage-selectable LED high bay/low bay retrofit lamp from Satco/Nuvo’s Hi-Pro series, designed to replace a 400 / 320 / 250W HID lamp in high bay fixtures using a Mogul Extended (EX39) base. This is a Type B, ballast-bypass lamp — the existing fixture must be rewired to bypass the HID ballast, igniter, and capacitor before installation; it is not for use with the luminaire’s ballast. With 4000K color temperature (Cool White), CRI 80+, a wattage-selector switch offering 18,200 / 14,000 / 11,200 lumens across its three stages, a 120° beam angle, and a 50,000-hour rated life, this lamp is cULus Listed/Classified, damp location rated, and approved for use in totally enclosed fixtures (not vapor-tight). Non-dimmable. Installation requires a qualified electrician and a minimum fixture compartment of 15.75" × 14.96". Product Overview

The Satco S33114 is a 130W/100W/80W wattage-selectable LED retrofit lamp engineered to replace a 400 / 320 / 250W HID lamp in high bay or low bay fixtures. A built-in selector switch lets the installer choose between three output levels (18,200 / 14,000 / 11,200 lm) to match the application, at 4000K (Cool White) with a CRI of 80+ and a 120° beam angle for broad downward light distribution.

This is a Type B, ballast-bypass retrofit — it is designed to directly replace the HID lamp after the fixture's ballast, igniter, and capacitor have been bypassed and removed from the circuit by a qualified electrician. It is not compatible with an intact HID ballast circuit. The lamp includes built-in 4kV surge protection and advanced convection cooling for reliable operation in demanding commercial environments.

• Ballast Bypass Required: This is a Type B lamp — the existing fixture must be rewired by a qualified electrician to bypass the HID ballast, igniter, and capacitor. Not a plug-and-play replacement into an intact HID circuit.
• Minimum Compartment Size: Confirm the fixture has at least 15.75" (400mm) length × 14.96" (380mm) width of internal clearance.
• Not for Vapor-Tight Fixtures: Confirm the fixture is not a sealed/vapor-tight enclosure.
• Voltage: Confirm the application is within 100-277V.

Safety and Installation Guidelines

• Disconnect power before installation. Risk of fire or electric shock.
• Qualified Electrician Required: Installation requires knowledge of luminaire electrical systems. If not qualified, do not attempt installation — contact a licensed electrician.
• Ballast Bypass Wiring: Open the fixture's junction box and bypass the HID ballast, igniter (if present), and capacitor (if present) by disconnecting the line, neutral, socket, and white wires at the points marked “X” in the manufacturer's wiring diagram. Connect line to the socket's back wire and neutral to the socket's white wire using wire nuts or connectors.
• Apply Retrofit Label: Place the included “This luminaire has been modified to operate LED lamps” label where it will be visible during future maintenance and re-lamping.
• Select Wattage: Use the power selection switch on the lamp neck to choose the desired output stage before final installation.
• Safety Cable (Base-Up Installations): If the high bay fixture is installed base-up, install the provided safety cable per the manufacturer's instructions — loop it around a load-bearing structure or feed it through a fixture opening, then lock it into the lamp's safety button, minimizing slack.
• Not for Emergency Exits: This device is not intended for use with emergency exit lighting.
• Not for Use With Dimmers: This lamp is non-dimmable.
• Environment: Suitable for damp locations only — not for direct exposure to weather or water.
• No External Load: Do not apply external weight or mechanical force to the lamp or its components.
• Wiring Protection: Do not expose wiring to sheet metal edges or other sharp objects; do not create or alter open holes in the wiring/electrical enclosure during installation.
• Code Compliance: The retrofit assembly is accepted as a luminaire component where suitability of the combination is determined by UL or the authority having jurisdiction.
