The Satco S9382 is an LED MR16 GU10 lamp engineered as a direct retrofit for 50W halogen MR16 lamps, delivering 500 lumens at 2700K with no mercury, no UV or IR radiation, and significantly lower energy use and heat output than the halogen lamp it replaces.
With a 40° flood beam angle and 80 CRI color rendering, this lamp is suited for general accent and down lighting applications where balanced light spread and accurate color rendering matter. It is rated for damp locations and is approved for use in fully enclosed fixtures, broadening the range of compatible fittings.
Backed by a 5-year warranty (based on 10 hours of use per day) and rated for 25,000 hours of life, the S9382 is built for long-term reliability in both residential and light commercial settings.

Before Ordering – Verify
- Confirm the fixture uses a GU10 (twist-lock) base – not GU5.3/MR16 bi-pin, which is a different base type
- Confirm 120V line voltage; this lamp is not compatible with 12V MR16 transformer-fed fixtures
- Confirm CCT and beam angle match the application: this is the 6.5W / 40° tier (S9382 2700K, S9383 3000K, S9384 4000K, S9385 5000K); a 25° narrow-flood 6.5W tier (S8676–S8679) and a 4.5W/40° tier (S9380/S9381) are also available
- If dimming is required, confirm the dimmer is a standard 120V phase-cut (Triac) type; not all LED-rated 0–10V or ELV dimmers are compatible
- Confirm the fixture is rated for damp locations if used in bathrooms, covered outdoor soffits, or similar environments – this lamp is not rated for wet locations
