The Ushio 3000009 G30T8 is a 30W UV-C germicidal lamp operating at 254nm, the peak germicidal wavelength for DNA damage to microorganisms. Rated life: 8,000 hours. Low mercury construction for reduced environmental impact.

UV-C radiation at 254nm is invisible and extremely dangerous to eyes and skin. Direct or reflected exposure can cause photokeratitis (arc eye), corneal damage, and severe skin burns within seconds. This lamp must only be operated with appropriate UV-blocking shielding, safety interlocks preventing human access during operation, and adequate ventilation to remove ozone produced by UV-C irradiation of air.
