The lamp produces 1,800 lumens from 10 watts at a 5000K daylight color temperature. Its frosted glass construction and 220-degree beam angle provide broad, uniform light distribution, while the PET coating helps contain glass if the tube is broken.

Ballast compatibility is essential. The lamp must be tested with the existing ballast before a large installation, and the ballast model must appear on the applicable LEDVANCE compatibility list. The lamp is not intended for magnetic ballasts, electronic ballasts more than ten years old, or older dedicated-voltage electronic ballasts.
