Product Overview
The Sylvania RT561A/1200ST9SC3/SMWH/E26 is a screw-base LED retrofit downlight intended for renovation and retrofit projects in bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and similar spaces using existing 5-6" recessed housings. It installs using an E26 medium base adapter in place of an incandescent or CFL lamp, with the trim, reflector, and driver integrated into a single unit – no separate housing replacement is required.
The smooth reflector and white trim ship as a complete kit. 5-6" versions include adjustable torsion springs for secure seating in standard insulated and non-insulated housings. Color trim rings (black, oil-rubbed bronze, or satin nickel) are available as a separate accessory if a finish other than white is required.
This unit has a fixed 1200 lm output with CCT-only selectability (2700K/3000K/3500K/4000K/5000K), switched via the rear-mounted selector. Lumen output is not field-adjustable on this SKU; if variable lumen output is required, the Dual Selectable series (e.g. 65735/65736/65737/65738) should be specified instead.

- Confirm the desired color temperature setting (2700K/3000K/3500K/4000K/5000K) before installation; the CCT switch is accessible only by removing the fixture from the housing.
- Confirm reflector style (Smooth) and trim finish match the room's other fixtures, or order a color trim ring separately if needed.
- If dimming is required, confirm the dimmer model is on the compatible leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmer list; not all dimmers are compatible.
- Confirm the housing can structurally support a one-pound lamp and is not designated for emergency or exit lighting use.
