Additional Information

The Sylvania 18W Dulux D/E T4 Compact Fluorescent Lamp delivers 1150 lumens of warm white light at 2700K, perfect for cozy, energy-efficient lighting. With a CRI of 82, a 12,000-hour lifespan, and a G24Q-2 4-pin base, this eco-friendly lamp is ideal for residential and commercial fixtures. It’s TCLP compliant and designed for use with electronic and CFL dimming ballasts.

Initial lumens are approximate after 100 hours of operation. Minimum starting temperature depends on the ballast; consult the ballast manufacturer. Sylvania Ecologic fluorescent lamps pass the Federal Toxic Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) for non-hazardous waste classification in most states. Check local and state regulations for disposal

Life ratings are based on 3-hour burning cycles with ANSI-compliant ballasts. Longer cycles increase lifespan. For compact fluorescent lamps, divide incandescent wattage by 4 to estimate equivalent CFL wattage for similar light output. This lamp is designed for use with electronic and CFL dimming ballasts.

End-of-Life Considerations

T2, T4, and T5 fluorescent lamps on high-frequency ballasts may experience abnormal end-of-life issues, such as bulb wall cracking near the base or overheating, potentially melting the base and socket. NEMA recommends high-frequency CFL ballasts include an end-of-life shutdown circuit for safety. Refer to NEMA’s
