The GE 66945 Lightech LET75 is an electronic step-down transformer that converts standard 120V line voltage to 12V low-voltage output for halogen MR16, MR11, and other low-voltage lamp systems, as well as compatible constant-voltage 12V LED fixtures. GE's Auto-Thermal Regulation process proportionally reduces output voltage above 90°C case temperature, and a self-preserving 125°C thermal cut-off protects the transformer from sustained overheating. Field-effect transistor design delivers higher efficiency, smaller size, and longer service life than older bipolar transistor transformers.

This transformer supports trailing edge (ELV) dimming, compatible with most electronic low-voltage dimmer switches. The 20–75W output range means the connected load must total at least 20W to maintain stable, flicker-free operation at low dim levels — connecting too light a load (a single low-wattage lamp) can cause instability. Confirm total connected wattage falls within this range before installation.
