The GE LU70/SBY/XL is a 70-watt Standby Longlife Lucalox® HPS lamp with dual arc tubes. It ships with a ED23.5 bulb envelope on a E39 Mogul Screw base and is built to operate on an HPS ballast rated ANSI S62. Output is 6,400 initial lumens (5,050 mean lumens) at 2000K and 22 CRI, with a warm amber HPS color.

Standby Longlife lamps contain an extra arc tube that provides light instantly after a momentary power interruption and returns to 80% light output in 1–2 minutes. They operate on standard HPS ballasts and auxiliary equipment.

Not recommended for: retail displays, color-critical inspection environments, or any application requiring CRI above 22.

Safety and Handling Guidelines
