The ProLED Select Backlit Panel Series is a high-performing, efficient flat panel for commercial and industrial applications. Both wattage and CCT are field-selectable via dipswitches, making a single SKU cover multiple lumen packages and color temperatures – this 2x4 model covers 30W/35W/45W across 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K.
The panel uses a direct backlit design in an aluminum housing with a diffused lens, multiple knockouts on the driver compartment, and low-voltage wiring accessible through the AC wiring compartment. It ships for standard installation; surface mount and flange mount kits are available separately for other ceiling types, and an emergency battery backup option is available with the matching mounting bridge accessory.

- Confirm panel size: this is the 2x4 model (30W/35W/45W). Halco also stocks this series in other sizes with their own wattage ranges – confirm the correct size for the ceiling grid or opening.
- This panel ships for standard/recessed mounting. Surface mount (SMK) and flange mount (FMK) kits are sold separately and are size-specific – confirm the correct kit for this panel size.
- Emergency battery backup requires both the VPL/EM/LED3 battery module and the correctly sized mounting bridge (EMMB1 for 1x4, EMMB2 for 2x2/2x4) – confirm all three parts are ordered together if battery backup is required.

Safety and Handling Guidelines
- De-energize the circuit before installing or servicing the fixture.
- Set the wattage and CCT dipswitches before final installation is complete; the driver compartment may be less accessible once the panel is installed in the ceiling.
- Damp Location rated only – confirm the installation location does not require a Wet Location rating.
- IC rated for direct contact with insulation, but confirm local code requirements for the specific installation.
- Use only with a dimmer or control confirmed compatible with 0-10V dimming.
