Product Overview

Low frequency electronic HID ballasts such as the Philips Advance e-Vision line continuously measure and adjust lamp wattage, which keeps the superior color properties of ceramic metal halide lamps stable over life. That makes e-Vision the preferred choice for applications that were once lit with tungsten halogen or incandescent sources, such as retail lighting.

Before Ordering

Safety and Handling

• Disconnect power before installing or servicing, and have the work done by a qualified electrician.

• Do not exceed the 90°C maximum case temperature; excess heat shortens life and can trip the resettable thermal protector.
• With screw-base lamps, connect the red lead to the center terminal of the lamp socket.
• The ballast output shuts down after 20 minutes if the lamp fails to ignite.
• Cycle power off, then on, after replacing a lamp.
