Product Overview
The 15378 is a GE CSR/CSD daylight metal halide discharge lamp built for high-CRI, high-output entertainment and broadcast lighting. It operates at 7200K color temperature with a GX9.5 base and is rated for a 1,000-hour average life under any burning position.
Per GE footnote 14, this lamp must be operated only in an enclosed fixture rated for this product (UL Standard 1572 / 21 CFR 1040.30) — the arc tube can emit UV radiation and the lamp can cause serious skin burn and eye inflammation if the outer envelope is broken or punctured while the arc continues to operate.

- Enclosed fixture only, per UL Standard 1572. WARNING: This lamp can cause serious skin burn and eye inflammation if the outer envelope is broken or punctured and the arc tube continues to operate. Do not use where people will remain more than a few minutes unless adequate shielding or other safety precautions are used.
- Turn power off before inspection, installation, or removal — risk of electrical shock.
- Keep combustible materials away from the lamp and use only in a fixture rated for this product — risk of fire.
- A damaged lamp emits UV radiation which may cause eye/skin injury; turn power off if the glass is broken and remove/dispose of the lamp.
- Allow the lamp/fixture to cool completely before handling or relamping.
