The Sylvania 49131 QTP2x54T5HOUNVPSNNL is a premium T5HO ballast engineered for full lumen output and maximum system reliability with Sylvania PENTRON T5HO lamps. PROStart programmed rapid start preheats lamp cathodes before striking the arc, protecting filaments from the stress of cold starting and significantly extending lamp life — critical for applications with frequent switching or occupancy sensor control.

QUICKSENSE patented end-of-lamp-life circuitry detects lamp gas depletion and shuts down the ballast to prevent overheating at end of life, protecting both the ballast and fixture. Output frequency greater than 40kHz prevents harmful infrared interference with commercial control systems and sensors. The ballast factor of 1.00 delivers full rated lamp output — appropriate for T5HO systems where maximum lumen output is required.
