Product Overview
The 48772 is a GE Quartzline® tungsten halogen lamp from GE's Stage and Studio line, built for 3200K color-consistent output over a 400-hour rated life. It uses a T-32 quartz envelope with a GX38 base rated for 208V operation.
Quartz halogen lamps are designed to be operated within close voltage tolerances; excessive voltage can drastically shorten life even as it raises light output. GE recommends contact pins be kept clean, since oxidation above 350°C can cause arcing and irreparable damage to both lamp and lampholder.
