The Mark 10 Powerline IEZ-2S28-D is an Advance/Signify electronic dimming ballast built for Programmed Start operation, wired in series for two compatible 4ft T5 lamps. It operates from a 50/60Hz source and is available in dedicated 120V (IEZ-2S28-D@120V) and 277V (IEZ-2S28-D@277V) input versions — confirm which one matches your circuit before ordering. It's high-frequency electronic, operating above 42kHz to avoid infrared interference and eliminate visible flicker.
This ballast dims compatible lamps from 100% down to 5% relative light output (1% for T5/HO lamps), holds Power Factor above 0.98 at full output and above 0.90 throughout the dimming range, and keeps input current THD under 10% at max output — all at a Class A sound rating. Dimming control requires a compatible Mark 10 Powerline two-wire dimmer (not a DALI or 0-10V system) — the dimmer supplies 120V (full) / 56V (min) control voltage on 120V systems, or 277V (full) / 129V (min) on 277V systems. It carries a Lamp End-of-Life Protection Circuit for T5, T5/HO, and CFL lamps.
